Tim's Place: The World's Friendliest Restaurant

As you may have already heard, Gateway to Learning will be launching our new cafe this spring in Lincoln Square. Dorothy's Can-Do Cafe will be an exciting way for our members to learn and grow, and for the community to see what we're all about. We believe that individuals with intellectual disabilities deserve the opportunity to find a meaningful place in society, like Tim of Tim's Place has done.

Tim Harris is America's first restaurant owner who happens to have Down syndrome. Check out Tim's inspiring story here, and start practicing those dance moves--we expect to see all of you break it down like this on the way to Dorothy's in May!
